Home Decor Vol.1

So this post is about home decor, more importantly coffee table magazines. I know what you are thinking; coffee table magazines? What many people, especially men don't realize is that everything in your home is up for scrutiny when you have company. So for guys this is extremely important when having female guests. So when a woman comes to your home and sits on the couch and you walk away to get drinks, what is she doing? She is scoping your spot and the type of magazines you have sitting right in front of her will catch her eye. With this being said you probably don't want your latest issue, or any issue of Hustler sitting out.

#1 - Black Enterprise is your trump card. The name alone says everything, you are a black professional ready to do big things. Black Enterprise bills itself as the ultimate source for wealth creation and financial empowerment. If you have never read a Black Enterprise mag you are holding yourself back, this is the blueprint to your success. If you don't believe me, look up their website and read an article or two.

#2 - Money, money, money! That's what the Robb Report screams, either you have it or your pushing for it. You might remember hearing about this magazine in a couple Jay-Z lines a couple years back. Anyway, the Robb Report will show you how the other side lives and how you will someday.

#3 - The last magazine I have on this list is Time Magazine. Time is a in-depth look at the world from different angles and opinions. This is not an entertainment magazine, this is social genius, the world as we know it. Besides a newspaper, Time is one of the few written pieces that shows your knowledgeable of our world. Another perk to reading it is good conversation pieces, you'll be come the "deep brother."

There are plenty of other magazines out there that will work as well, like fitness mags (except if you obviously do not work out), the Wall Street Journal, and countless others. Just remember, no porno mags, weird fetish mags, or goth psycho gun muscle truck tattoo (well crazy tattoos) outdoors (unless you want a super butch chick) magazines.
